Yes! You can grow up to 80 different plants at once—truly an indoor Eden!

Yes, you can use your own seeds. However, we can’t guarantee the same success rate with third-party seeds, as they may have different growth requirements.

For optimal plant growth and a stable nutrient balance, we recommend flushing the water in your system monthly – a process commonly referred to as water change. This quick and easy process takes just 10-15 minutes and helps maintain a healthy growing environment.

Using plant enzymes consistently from the beginning can also significantly reduce—if not eliminate—the need for full system cleanings over time. It helps keep the internal components of your Ponix Rack clean while also enhancing plant health and providing additional benefits.

You can safely use tap water from a municipal supply or well water for your system. Most plants thrive in these water sources.

In the Ponix Rack system, most seeds can successfully sprout and grow as long as they have the right conditions. Our hydroponic setup eliminates the need for soil, instead using a nutrient-rich water solution and optimized lighting to support healthy germination and plant development.

However, it’s important to consider the mature size of the plant. For larger crops like peppers and tomatoes, we recommend selecting dwarf or compact varieties to ensure they receive adequate light, space, and structural support while growing in the unit.

Yes, while an indoor hydroponic system like Ponix Garden greatly reduces the risk of pests compared to traditional soil gardening, it’s still possible for pests to appear. Common indoor garden pests include aphids, spider mites, and fungus gnats, which can be introduced through new plants, open windows, or even on clothing. If you suspect a problem, we recommend an organic, biological pest control solution like spinosad. For further assistance, feel free to contact us at sales@ponixfarms.com.
